I'm pleased to announce that
my latest collection, Burning Constellations, is now available.
The Poison of Your Embrace
The sweet taste masks the poison
Of your embrace -
Tightly bound ’round me, suffocating and intense,
Tendrils circling and caressing, unseen villains
Clasping, latching around my limbs,
Gorging into my hips, pushing between my thighs…
This is what I know -
Your rock solid fortitude weighing upon me
As you wrap yourself around me,
As you funnel your way into my psyche and hook in,
Hook in and rip out again,
Blood flowing from the wounds you’ve created,
Flowing again,
And again, and again…
Ripped bits of skin only a shadow of the pain,
A visual reminder of the deeper wound,
The gaping chasm of my torn soul and battered heart,
Blossoming remnants of your dying embrace…
