Poetic Pearls of a Self-Proclaimed Caveman
Sweet, sweet Orpheus -
Your eloquence enchants me,
Those lingering whispers drifting
…your fingers,
Oh, how well they play our song,
The words began so long ago,
Our bodies creating the melody,
The electricity when we touch…
The sensations tease me despite
Our distance, memories urging me forward,
Forcing me to wait, however impatiently,
For another sip of your delicious lips,
Your demanding tongue, so sweet,
Each and every kiss reminds me of your creative power,
That force within kept so tightly contained -
(except with me)
With each kiss our souls entwine,
(Breath of my breath)
Our eyes open, falling into one another,
And I remember your words, those poetic pearls
So freely given, your greatest gift my treasure,
The sweet tender soul of a self-proclaimed caveman,
My Orpheus…
Just remember -

Never, ever look back…
