Dena's Poetry: Poetry of Love, Loss, and the Occult is Written, Designed, and Maintained by
Dena L. Moore.
Metamorphosis
Dark shadows flowing,
Following me closely -
A reflection I see, a mirror held up
To explore this beauty,
The dark, sweet bounty of the ethereal waters…
I’ve fallen overboard,
I’m drowning in this river,
Drowning in the essence of this embrace,
Falling and flying,
So free before you, so free -
Melodic touching, strumming the chords
Of my tune as you dance over me,
As you call out to me, again,
And again,
Soft, sensual whispers - Delphian river
Caressing me in the twilight,
Reveling in the discovery of my
Shape-shifting Transformation, pleasuring
The nymph I have become -
I’ve fallen overboard,
I’m swimming in the waters,
My strokes strong yet gentle,
I glide into you as firmly as you pull me into your depths,
We fall and flow together, dark as the deepest sea,
Misty as the stones which rise above us,
A smooth metamorphosis,
A powerful fusion of energy,
Consecrated fluidity -
Consumed by the darkness,
Your waters bathe my Soul,
I am lost in you.
