I Am A Witch
I am a water-witch. I cast my stones upon the waves, Gleaming pale pinks, Blues, reds sinking in the foam, Drifting in intent.
I stand upon the shore Catching the wind in my hair, Blowing the sand away From the intricate figure, My sigil there, hand-carved and damp.
I am a fire-witch. I sink the blade into my candles In the dead of the night I anoint them all with The energies of my oil.
I sit before the flames, Flickering as I waver, My body rocking in rhythm As the smoke drifts up, With it my thoughts...and my power.
I am an earth-witch. I tend my garden in the Early morning hours, Plucking tender heads, pulling Dying leaves with permission.
I lay on the wet grass, My skin bare against the ground. My circle's made of stone, Surrounding me, protecting me, Kissing me with its beauty.
I am an air-witch. I listen to the whispers Of the wind as they rattle through Me, as they touch the chimes In the quiet of the evening.
I lean towards the mirror, Seeking answers to my questions, Seeing my intentions, my future In the looking glass as I Concentrate my thoughts.
I am a witch. My soul is my center, My chapel, my shelter. My life is the elements; I am in communion with our Mother.
I walk hand in hand with our Father. I am you, you are me... Our souls intermingle In balance...harmony... Free-flowing life--a never-ending circle.
