Before Heaven and Hell

Slow,
Sensual
Warmth surrounds me.
Slipping
Dreams
Waken memories
Of long ago.

Ancient
mystery swallows
Our presence,
Uniting omnipotence
With Vassalage,
The hell mouth
With Pearly gates.

I lie before Him,
Soul bared
And gleaming,
Eyes wide in wonder,
Dreaming,
Dreaming--
Drifting high in my chamber.

A kiss
Of song
Escapes my lips,
An ode of bright stars
Swirling,
Enchanted melody
Only He may hear.

Dissolution
Reigns supreme
In desperation,
Fascination.
I reach,
Such a small, gliding motion.
His hand clasps mine--

His soul shines bright,
Slicing through the mist,
Reaching out for me,
Claiming me
Before all others,
United in spirit
Before Heaven and Hell.
